The Campaign for a Family and Training Center

Our vision is to create an open and welcoming place for families, an indoor play space, parenting education facilities, and space for training and collaboration.

Operating out of a small building in the Bowdoin-Geneva neighborhood of Dorchester, Family Nurturing Center has a long history of strengthening families statewide and building community in Boston’s challenged neighborhoods. We have delivered programs to thousands of families through partnerships with schools, social service agencies, domestic violence shelters, and city and state agencies.

The current size of our building limits delivery of programs in our own neighborhood, where 2,500 children under five live within a half mile.
